Real estate listing web pages using iLife, iWeb and .Mac

Is anyone doing anything unique or creative using iWeb and your .Mac account?  I have not seen many agents create a listing page useing this software and service.  It is a quick, clean and easy way to post listing info on the web but I have yet to see anyone do anything with this.  If you have seen anything or you have created something kinda cool please post a link.  I feel like I could be missing out on this feature and need a little inspiration.

People in my office talk about it but, I'm not to sure how it works. I have made some pretty cool flyers using apple software though.  Good Luck and Best Wishes!

The basic templates are pretty cool but I haven't seen anyyone doing anything for real estate with them yet.  I would love to use them and make something different than anyone is doing in my market.  I want something clean and vibrant.

Hi Sam,

I build my own web sites and have used iweb with my .mac account.  I think the software is great for a single person who wants to quickly put a small amount of information on their website.  It is really intended for individuals to have personal websites with their bios, pictures, etc.  It just can't handle the large amounts of data that real estate websites require.  The iweb sites look good, but are too slow for real estate purposes.  Why don't you try a content management system like dotnetnuke?

David - I hear you and agree with you.  I like the iWeb account but I have found it very limited.

Here is a website I just created with iweb-

It worked, but I agree that it is not really designed for real estate. Also, it was my first website buid EVER, so it worked okay overall. I am going to try Rapidweaver with my next property website.

I use Rapidweaver and I am very happy with it, but do not go into it thinking it is "Iweb Plus".  It is very user friendly but does not work in the same way that iweb does.   Take the time to learn about the product and it's capabilities and I think you will love it.....I am pretty active on the forums ( as ambw ) so look out for me there and ask any questions you have.  You can check out my Rapidweaver Real Estate site at http:/    IMHO it is a great option for those with some basic skills and the motivation to build a Real Estate website.
