Magic Eraser Demonstration Can Help Get Your Listings In Show Ready Condition (video)

I have been using Mr. Clean's Magic Eraser by Proctor and Gamble for a couple of years now and this product flat out works.  I created a fairly basic video demonstration using my Flip digital video recorder and the quality was so good I decided to create a short web video out of it.  If you are not familiar with the Magic Eraser they are cheap at less than $4.00 for a pack of four which puts them at about a buck a piece.  The real benefit with this product is that when you do a quick demonstration with your client and you show them just how simple the Magic Eraser is to use and how well they clean your clients will immediately gain a new respect for you and your expertise.

Real Estate agents need to demonstrate their value and offer services beyond simply listing their home and this is an example of how you can set yourself apart.  If you are not using some sort of consumer video for home preparation and pricing you could be missing the boat and I would highly recommend you look into them for your benefits and especially for your sellers.

Agents score me high on this video so I can tell my daughter who is my onscreen actress she is the reason I gained a few bonus points (laughing).

Barbara - I am glad you found my Blog since you have never heard of the Magic Eraser.  You should seriously buy a pack and test them out...you will be instantly impressed with this product.

Lori - Sounds like you have had great success with the Magic Eraser also.  Do you use it with your sellers as part of your listing presentation?

Kathleen - Thanks for your compliment and as you can see in the video...the product is so easy to use "Even A Kid Can Clean With It"

Something you may find interesting is that I did not use a traditional video camera to create this video...I used a little FLIP F260W USB digital video recorder.  Here is a link to a blog I wrote about the Flip:  http://activerain.com/blogsview/245384/Flip-USB-Video-Camera

Ray - Glad you stopped by and the Magic Eraser is truly a real estate agent and the home owners best friend for a shiney clean home.  My daughter had never used a magic eraser before today and she cleaned up that staircase in about 20 seconds.  (big smile)

Sam great post!! I've gone thru dozens of the magic erasers the last couple of years (since they came out). I keep a few in my car and at least a dozen under the kitchen sink. I've used them for literally every cleaning job in my house and I highly recommend it. Great ideafor the consumer vid you put together. Best of luck in 2008.

Joe - Yes, My daughter is lucky it didn't come from my side.

Vincent - Thanks and I am actually building a video section on my site for "Seller Tips" and this will be the type of thing I will feature (but I will not use YouTube to host them).

I am impressed that this blog has been viewed by so many people especially considering the topic is not really that main stream.  Thanks to everyone who has written me.  (Big Smile To All)

Yes this thing does work well, especially for getting dirt, crayon and marker off walls.  I have all but 'erased' any sign of my 2 year old's artistry from my living room and stairwell walls.  It's a great product!

I. Lee - I could not agree with you more.  These things are truly magic.  The best part of using them with your client is that they are instantly impressed especially if you use them on an electric over drip pan around the heating coils...the magic eraser can really make those chrome rings shine.

Hi Linda, They are truly magic.  I bought a case of them from our local Lowes store and my sellers love them.
