Apple Valley Ohio Lake Community by Sam Miller

I have been following Joe Jackson on ActiveRain for nearly 3 years.  Joe's post is a reminder to me and I am sure many others that we all need to blog beyond our real estate listings.  This is great motivation for me to create some new Knox County Ohio community posts on ActiveRain.

Sam Miller

It has been over 3 years ago that Sam Miller invited me to join Active Rain. At firast I was just posting listing, some community information and responding to posts. But as I approach 300,000 points, I have realized the cast amount of talent of the Active Rain community. Many of my posts sound like a report or a contract, however on occasion my creative juices flow and I feel my posts are coming more from within me instead of around me.

Recently we posted about a fund raiser that helped raise enough food items and $$ to feed 117 families for a week. I have posted real estate experiences of turning down un realistic " toxic" clients and a great open house experience.

As time goes on, I hope my posts improve to the level of some of the GREAT AR writers! Practice, Practice, Practice!

Have a great week!

I think the answer is yes - certainly a lot of people do.  It seems to me that the best  - to me - blogs are those that have some balance between the personal musings and the businesses we are in.
