Preparing Your Home To Sell Using The Magic Eraser

Magic Eraser

Getting your home in show ready condition is more critical than ever before especially in this super competitive real estate market.  Many homeowners believe there is a buyer for every single home that is on the market but the reality is that in most markets only about 50 percent of the homes available will actually sell during their original listing period.  With more and more homes for sale it is even more critical that your home really stands out, shines and is in show ready condition.

If you want to give your home a nicely detailed feeling you may want to check out the special cleaning sponge by Mr. Clean called the Magic Eraser.  This handy little cleaning tool costs just slightly more than a dollar per sponge and makes cleaning challenging areas quick and easy.  The Magic Eraser is outstanding for cleaning and removing fingerprints, dirt, smudges and stains from your walls, house trim, baseboards, doors, electrical switch plate covers, kitchen appliances, tile floors, showers, tubs, sinks and there are many other great uses.

When you want to sell your home for all it is worth in the current housing market give your home a little extra shine using the "Magic Eraser".  Knox County, Ohio homeowners who are planning to sell their home can also benefit from my personal recommendations for detailing your home plus I also offer my clients a real estate specific DVD video titled "Preparing Your Home To Sell" by real estate expert David Knox.  If you are interested in getting your home ready to sell give me a call or you can complete our online listing form.

Jody - I buy them by the case and carry the Magic Eraser with me on my listing appointments along with a few other specialty cleaning and staging tools.

I would like to know how they do it.  The chemicals must be quite good.  Lives up to the hype.

Sam - What a great idea.  I have heard of the Magic Eraser, but never used one.  Bringing one on a listing appointment is a good idea.  I will have to try them.

This is my favorite cleaning tool. I cleaned out a closet on a vacant listing that was filled with black marks from shoes. The owners didn't think to repaint in there. It looked brand new!
